Not only that, Da Nang is gradually transforming, focusing mainly on high-tech industries such as microchip development, semiconductors and artificial intelligence (AI), … so it quickly reached 213.4 million USD of FDI capital in 2024, an increase of 17.9% compared to the same period in 2023 [2].

In 2025, Da Nang aims for breakthrough development, responding to the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 22nd National Party Congress and the Resolution of the City People’s Council on the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2021-2025. Specifically, the region continuously promotes public investment projects, actively disburses and removes bottlenecks in the investment sector. The latest information from the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province, in just the first 6 months of 2024, the total product in the area (GRDP) increased by 2.7% compared to the same period last year and the economic scale reached nearly 59 trillion VND (most notably the industry – construction sector accounted for 29.8%) [3].

To achieve such impressive achievements, it cannot be denied that Quang Nam is a new land, with many untapped resources. At the same time, the correct development orientation from the state according to the structural model of “two regions, two dynamic clusters, three development corridors” contributes to promoting the strengths of each place, while still ensuring sustainability. In addition, both provinces have a fairly high population density, so the human resources are abundant with not too high rental fees. At the same time, the working age is young (for example, Thua Thien Hue has a labor force over 15 years old of 1,038.80 thousand people). The factors mentioned above confirm that Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue have good potential for industrial development that all investors should consider.
