KTG OFFICIALLY OPENS AND PUT IN USE THE ROOFTOP SOLAR PRODUCT SYSTEM FOR INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTS

On June 25, 2019, at the office of KTG Tam Phuoc Industrial Center – Dong Nai, Khai Toan Joint Stock Company (KTG) held an opening ceremony and officially put into use solar power. Rooftops are deployed throughout the nationwide system of factories and warehouses invested in, built and leased by KTG. This project is one of the largest rooftop solar energy systems in Vietnam to date.

Faced with the risk of electricity shortage in 2020 due to the rapid increase in electricity consumption across the country, taking advantage of on-site energy sources with low investment and maintenance costs such as rooftop solar power systems is being considered as the solution. useful, while taking advantage of local energy sources and reducing electricity costs, contributing significantly to environmental protection… With the State’s policy of encouraging the development of power sources from renewable energy created, many solar power projects have been invested and built. In particular, rooftop solar power is a new, superior form that can develop dramatically in the future.

The rooftop solar system invested by KTG was developed by Phoenix Clean Power (PCP) and installed by Tona Syntegra Solar (TSS) on KTG’s factory and ready-built warehouse system in the areas. industry nationwide. Attending the ceremony were all representatives of the 3 companies’ leaders. On the side of KTG Group are Mr. Dang Trong Duc – Deputy Director of Industrial Development (KTG Industrial); Mr. Duong Van Hoai – Head of KTG Industrial project development committee. On the contractor’s side is Mr. Tran Ngoc Tuan Khanh – director of OnEnergy.

Mr. Dang Trong Duc, Deputy Director of Industrial Development, representative of KTG shared at the ceremony: “KTG Industrial is a piece of the KTG Group, with the vision of being the leading real estate developer in Vietnam, providing quality Factory/Warehouse rental services, suitable for Vietnam’s economic environment. . We always focus on investing in sustainable values by proactively predicting world trends with renewable energy development policies, specifically rooftop solar power systems.”

At the same time, Mr. Stefan Kratz – PCP representative thanked for the trust and cooperation between the parties and highly appreciated the promotion of renewable energy investment, contributing to the sustainable development of KTG.

Regarding the general contractor of the TSS project, Mr. Mathias Kothe said “Thanks to the support of KTG and PCP, TSS was able to overcome major challenges in scale and implementation schedule, turning difficult projects into reality and succeeding beyond expectations. TSS is very honored to be part of the largest solar power system project in the country, contributing to building a green industrial environment and energy security in Vietnam.”

With modern technology and equipment, it is promised that the rooftop solar power system will operate at a high level of efficiency. These panels will absorb solar radiation and convert it into electricity that is fed into the national grid, helping to save costs and reduce CO2 emissions, contributing to building a green – clean – industrial environment. Pretty.

The signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement took place solemnly, warmly and sincerely with high agreement between the three parties, creating trust and development potential for the next joint projects. This is an important milestone in the development and cooperation roadmap to create large quality projects of international stature.

Advantages of rooftop solar power:

– Does not take up land area.

– Helps increase effective heat protection for projects.

– Distributed installations should be connected to the existing low- and medium-voltage power grids, without needing to invest in additional transmission grid systems.

With a grid-connected solar power system, if the electricity generated is equal to the building’s consumption needs, the building will receive electricity entirely from this solar energy. When the capacity from the solar power source is less than demand, the building will receive additional power from the grid. If solar power capacity is greater than consumption capacity, the excess power will be transmitted to the national grid. In case of grid power outage, the grid-connected solar power system will automatically be isolated to ensure grid safety.

Vietnam is considered to have great potential for solar power. In particular, the application of roof-mounted solar battery systems to produce electricity will contribute to helping families and businesses significantly reduce electricity costs and reduce electricity supply pressure for the electricity industry, especially the electricity industry. in the hot season.
